NCSoft finally announced the release date for Aion!

If you pre-ordered the game, you have access to a head start. The early access for NA and Europe will launch on the same day.

More importantly, NCSoft corrected the images for the exclusive Collector’s Edition. I personally think they are much better. Check it out!

And last but not least…. step by On Thursday, 25 June, for the exclusive digital collector’s edition! (Yes, there will be one! Stay tuned for more information)

They finally did it!
After one week of delay, the preorder offer for Aion is finally available!
The first online official reseller is Amazon. You can buy the box at the price of 10€ right here!
It will give you a beta key to participate in each of the preview weekends and a headstart when the game will launch in September.
It also gives you the following in-game items!

Here is a detailed description :

• Beta key for ALL preview weekends.
• Possibility to create your character before everyone else. (And so, be sure your nickname will be yours!)
• Headstart
• Lodas Talisman (20% bonus experience for one hour. Works only once)
• Dark Cloud Helmet (Stat bonus)
• Ring of Earth (Exclusive Amazon bonus)

This presell box is sold at the price of 10 €, which you can substract from the final version of the game. Should you buy the collector’s edition, you will pay the price of 59 € instead of 69 €! Same goes for the standard edition. (39 € instead of 49€)

Here is the fix if you would like to play Aion for the upcoming European and NA preview weekend :

• Download the Gameguard.des fix for Aion on Windows 7
• Extract the Gameguard.des from the .rar you just downloaded
• Open up this folder for 64bit: C:\Program Files (x86)\NCSoft\Aion\bin32
  and this for 32bit: C:\Program Files\NCSoft\Aion\bin32
• Rename GameGuard.des to GameGuard.old and copy the one from the rar you just downloaded
• Now you can play
